Dr. Ashourzadeh
Dr. Ashourzadeh is a veteran pediatrician of 30 years. He did his pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital of LIJ (currently known as Cohens Children’s Hospital). While in residency he received the “Resident Research and Scholarly Performance Award” for his research project on pediatric asthma. He established Caring Pediatric Associates in 1993 at its current location.
Dr. Ashourzadeh has been a recipient of multiple consumer awards, including “America’s Top Pediatricians” and “Most Compassionate Pediatricians.” He is board-certified from the American Board of Pediatrics. He has 30 years of outpatient and inpatient pediatric experience and currently is taking care of many of his 2nd-generation patients.
Dr. Ashourzadeh also has participated in guiding and mentoring new pediatric residents from NSLIJ, Winthrop Hospital, and physician assistant students in the pediatric field.

Dr. Linzer
Dr. Linzer finished her pediatric residency program at Winthrop Hospital in Mineola in 1995. She is a board-certified pediatrician who has been in private practice since she finished her residency. She is board-certified from the American Board of Pediatrics. She joined Caring Pediatric Associates in 2008 and really enjoys working with kids of all ages. She is married and the mother of two children.
