About Your Pediatrician

Dr. Ashourzadeh is a veteran pediatrician with over 30 years of experience. He completed his pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital of Long Island Jewish (now known as Cohen's Children’s Hospital). During his residency, he received the “Resident Research and Scholarly Performance Award” for his research project on pediatric asthma. In 1993, he established Caring Pediatric Associates, which continues to operate at its current location.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ashourzadeh has received numerous consumer awards, including “America’s Top Pediatricians” and “Most Compassionate Pediatricians.” He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has extensive experience providing both outpatient and inpatient pediatric care. Remarkably, he is currently caring for many of his second-generation patients.

Additionally, Dr. Ashourzadeh has played a vital role in guiding and mentoring new pediatric residents from North Shore-LIJ, Winthrop Hospital, and physician assistant students in the pediatric field.
